Well I’m so sorry for not updating my blog recently it’s been super busy in the shop. I hope you all had good Christmases – there seem to have been lots of engagements as is always the case. I think I read the other day that Xmas Day is the most popular day for getting engaged closely followed by valentines day, xmas eve and new years eve. Personally I got engaged in September after being with Paul for 13 months – he took me to the Elan Valley Hotel….arrr ….
Congratulations to you all – we have been seeing brides for 2018/2019 and have had conversations at wedding fairs with couples getting married in 2020/2021 too so it’s never too early to start planning your wedding and more importantly it helps to spread the cost I feel?
We have had a really busy and fun January, and February is looking to be just as good. Our weekends are getting booked up 2-3 weeks in advance but we usually are a little quieter in the week. So please do get in touch if you want to try on dresses or accessories – it would be really lovely to meet you and hopefully welcome you to our HB&B family when you say ‘yes to the dress’.
I found an interesting article on the internet the other day regarding how it’s ok to say yes to the first dress or indeed in the first shop – I shared it to our Facebook page – it’s worth a read as there’s some good tips within in.
We have had a lot of our new collections in now but we’re still waiting for a few more beautiful gowns to come in including some from Victoria Kay (White Collection) – they are uber gorgeous! Keep posted.
